Q3 Tax Collection Grace Period Extended

WHEREAS, the 2023 third quarter tax payments are due on August 1, 2023; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to extend the grace period for payment of the 2023 third quarter taxes due to the lateness of receiving the certified tax rate, lateness of mailing out the tax bills and in accordance with N.J.S.A. 54:4-66.3d;

NOW, THEREFOREB E IT RESOLVED, by the Township Committee of the Township of Delaware, County of Hunterdon, State of New Jersey, that the grace period for payment of the 2023 third quarter tax bills be extended to August 18, 2023, after which time interest will be charged back to the original due date of August 1, 2023.
