Public Notices

On Jun. 30, 2025, Governor Phil Murphy signed P.L. 2025, c. 72 (S4654) into law, which amends the legal notice requirements under the Open Public Meetings Act ("OPMA"). As of Mar. 1, 2026, public entities are no longer required to publish public notices in their official newspapers. The amendments to OPMA require that public entities must publish public notices on a designated page on their municipal website. This webpage fulfills Delaware Township's obligations under P.L. 2025, c.72, requiring public entities to publish legal notices online and maintain an accessible archive.

 A link to the public entity's public notices webpage must also be provide to the Secretary of State for posting on their website: New Jersey Secretary of State's Legal Notices Portal.
